Johnson Sun is a national first-level calligrapher, the executive vice president of the American Academy of Calligraphy, the chairman of the Friends of American Calligraphy Association, and the vice president of the American Academy of Calligraphy.Graduated from Zhejiang Normal University and Xiamen University Taiwan Research Institute.  Since childhood, he loved Chinese calligraphy and worked hard for more than 40 years. Examining the long-term copying and research of famous ancient calligraphy masters such as Wang Xizhi, Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fu, Zhang Xu, and Huai Su, they formed their own unique style of calligraphy.  Actively promote the art of Chinese calligraphy in the United States. His works are collected by the Arizona State Congress Museum, the majority leader of the Arizona Senate, and the Mayor of Los Angeles Eric, and displayed in the Los Angeles City Hall. His works are exhibited in the world-famous Huntington Library in Los Angeles.  The University of California, Los Angeles School of Law invited Mr. Sun to teach Chinese calligraphy. He is also the first person to regularly teach Chinese calligraphy in English at other universities in the United States.  Every Chinese Lunar New Year, at the Qianxi Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, Mr. Sun writes Spring Festival couplets, draws lanterns, and sends blessings to mainstream local people in order to express Chinese New Year blessings.  For two consecutive years, he taught Catherine Bagh, the first chief executive of Los Angeles, to write the Chinese characters "dog" and "pig".  In addition to the study of calligraphy, Mr. Sun has a wide range of interests.  Ink painting, tea ceremony, incense road, Peking opera, Yue opera, English dubbing, and many other aspects have deep research and accomplishments and are praised as "Jiangnan talents" by the local people from all walks of life.
